CCIJ research team

Ajibola Amzat is an award-winning Nigerian investigative journalist and the Africa Editor for the Centre for Collaborative Investigative Journalism, CCIJ.

He has years of experience uncovering major corruption scandals in Nigeria. He previously worked for The Guardian newspaper, the flagship of Nigerian print journalism, and the   International Center for Investigative Reporting (ICIR) in Abuja. Amzat is a graduate of the Columbia School of Journalism in New York, United States, Rhodes University, South Africa, and the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
